Hi there
I live in a block of units and when the other tennants take a shower I can hear a tapping/glugging noise in my appartment for the duration of the shower. It seems the further the unit is from me, the more noise the shower makes. In addition, the pipes have started knocking very loudly when some other tennants turn on their tapes or dishwashers…as all the pipes appear to go through my bedroom, the noise can be quite disruptive, is there anything you can suggest to fix this?

Sounds like the pipes were not strapped properly are the hangers came loose, its hard to tell you what to do in case like this if I cannot see it, if it is in bedroom ceiling you would have to take part of ceiling down to secure them, but they could be loose some other place and making the noise travel. have the Mat. man look into this.
