I have a 3′ 3′ with a angle in front custom shower base. My question is can I remove the step and extend the shower bigger by overlapping the new membrane to the old? Of course make a new step then install new membrane & overlap the existing one… Thanks

It depends on what memfrane you use and if you can make it water right. Check with people who made the base and see what tipe of membrane and glue to use, you have to have a good glue to connect the too so you dont have a leak, I dont recomend this kind of job, I would use membrane and cover whole base then you know it is water tight. maybe tile over that.
