I bought an older house and I am trying to change the toliet downstairs. I measured from the wall to the bolts and it measures 9″ for the rough-in. I have called several local suppliers and searched the internet and no one seems to make a 9″ rough-in toliet. Does anyone know if I could get one special order/made from somewhere? I really don’t want to jack hammer out the concrete to move the pipe if I have too. Thanks for any help! Steve Hoehne

They make a 10″ rough-in toilet.
Are your allowing for the dimension the base molding is adding to the final dimension of the wall?

I think it is American Standard are Kohler that makes a 10″ rough but the tank is set towards front so it can be used on 9″ rough, let me know if you find it.
