WHAT HAD HAPPENED WAS….. WELL I HAVE NEVER HOOKED UP A WASHER BEFORE, AND I THOUGHT I DID IT RIGHT, BUT THEN WATER STARTED TO LEAK OUT OF THE HEATERAC UNIT. THE GAS IS NOT ON YET, BUT WHAT SHOULD I DO? DID I RUIN THE WHOLE HOUSE?

You will have to get water out, I suggest you call a service man because you could be walking on thin ice messing with gas.
