The water pipes in the walls are creaking and it seems to be getting worse. My house is only 8 years old. I notice it most often when I flush the toilet or use the dishwasher or washing machine. What could be causing this and how do I get it fixed?

You failed to menthion if it is hot water lines or cold water piping. If it is H/W it could be the coefficient of expansion per inch per degree of expansion and contraction could cause this noise,
ESPECIALLY on hydronic heating lines. Did the city water department or you pump pressure get increase in pressure could will cause the velocity to increase in the piping system and Again can make it noisy.Good luck
