I have taken a job to do plumbing in a new home. All of the bathrooms will have tiled floors in the stalls. Is there anything that is to be placed on the cement(membrane) or any other “new type of solvent” that can be used on the floor to insure no water leakage under the tiles?

Are you a Plumber, or just a handyman. they have a membrane for that now, we use to make shower pans out of 4# sheet lead.
