Attic rerouting of water supply …

East Texas home is 28 years old – starting to see water leaks in under-foundation copper plumbing. Preparing to replace fiberglass tubs and thinking about running PVC up to attic to bypass underground corrosion problems.
Need opinions on attic use, and use of PVC. Our winters are mild, seldom below freezing, but occasionally.

If you runPVC inattic make sure you hang itevery 5′ and insulate real good and put a drain on bottom of riser. There are 2 kinds of PVc CW &HW check it out at store there are so many kinds.
