      My toilet in the half bath loses all the water in the bowl within several hours of being flushed. The toilet is used several times a day so this is not evaporation. Would someone be so kind as to give us a clue how to prevent this. Thanks

      Sounds like maybe a partial clog whereby toilet paper might be wicking the contents of the bowl out.

      Any chance of it draining slow?

      Sounds like you might have a crack in trap are hole. Take bowl up and set it on blocks and dump bucket of water in the bowl and see if it leaks out, if not then you might have a vent problem are like Dunbar said something syphoning the water.
