Air in Toilet Line

      My home has gone through construction and my toilet sit for approx 8 months. When I flush the toilet, a burst of water spurts back at me. It seem like a air is in the line. How can I repair this?

      Open all the faucets and let them run until air is all out, are you on a well, if so something else has to be done.
