We have a 7 year old house that is very dry and kept very clean, yet the bathroom baseboards near the toilet bowls are rusty and disgusting looking! Is there a hot water baseboard product out there that is rust proof?

The only thing I know of is to sand them down, clean them and paint them with a rust resilient paint.
