      I am attempting to remove my porcelain sink as I am going to tile the countertop. However, I cannot find a way to turn off the water under the bathroom sink. The plumbing appears original, about 35 years old. Afraid to unhook too much since I don’t know if water will coming spraying out or not. Please advise. Thanks!!

      Shut off wter at main valve comming into house. Take water loose from sink and cap up pipes, take drain loose. Before you put sink back put stops on pipes.
