        My 12 to 15 year old Stat Industries 4500 Watt Upper and Lower element water heater PV502L51 NC K87882564 is overheating.
        It has the Apcom water heater thermostat WH8 set at the lowest setting.
        What is the best recourse to assess and fix the problem?

          Let sleeping dogs. lie .
          Replace that 12-15 year old with a new more effec unit and not worry for 10 more years
