My kitchen faucet is very noisy but what really bothers me is that when I turn on either cold or hot knob passed the 1/2 way point, the water practically shuts off…it goes to a slow drip instead of a fast stream as when I fist turn it on. Any suggestions? Thanks

Turn water off and completely tear down faucet and give it a full rebuild, replacing all wearable parts in the faucet.
Use plumber’s grease on all moving parts and reinstall.
Sounds like calcium buildup.

Sounds like the deverter valve washer needs replacing.
