        I currently have a (2) State 510E waterheaters less than 10 years old. I have a corrosion problem.
        Is this common? Should I install a different brand to prevent it from happening again?

          Depending on your water conditions, electric heaters may only have an average life of 7-10 years. Therefore, in your case, it might be advantageous to purchase 8 or 12 year warranty water heaters in spite of the additional cost.
