        I have a leak in shower which extends to outside wall. One plumber said needs new shower pan,, other said no shower pan is needed as it is a sunken shower and it is coming from shower wall….is it true no shower pan is needed..kerry

          The best way to determine if a new shower pan is needed is to do a test on it. Plug the drain pipe with an expansion plug or test ball and fill the pan full of water to the top of the threshold. If water stays at that level overnight and no sign of leaks then your pan is fine.
