i was wondering if you could help me..
i have an electric water heater in my home, it has two heating elements in it.
it also has a slow leak resulting in it being on all the time running my power bill through the roof!!! i was
wondering if it has two tanks within it and if i could shut off the one with the leak untill i can afford to
fix it or replace it. thank you. -
It has one tank. It just uses the top element to heat the top and the bottom to heat the bottom. If it’s leaking it’s going to have to be replaced un less it’s leaking from a gasket at one of the elements.
