        Help! Help Help!We have an old historical home. The boiler is band new but one of the radiators is leaking. Not from a valva but form the body. It is dead winter and we have no preassure. I have called a plumber but no on knows what to do about replacing the radiator. is trhere something that will get me through the winter until I can have it welded?Help Help Help!

          Cap off or install a connector pipe to the other pipe opposite side of radiator.

          It all depends on what type of system you have that makes that decision.

          This will make the system operable and possibly a gasket between the radiator panels is leaking, and can be repaired.

            Thanks I finally found someone who knew what to do. Which is justy what you explained. But it really cost me. Over 700 dollars. The radiator is offline now and prospects for finding a replacement are slim but the hunt is on to find one for less than a college education.
