We were using our two year old Whitehaus faucet – using the spray handle – and when we let go of the spray handle, the regular faucet did not work. No water comes from the regular faucet (goose neck style) – hot and cold water handles are separate pieces – as is the spray handle – all coming through 4 separate holes in the counter.

Is something stuck? Can we fix it without replacing anything? Right now we have unscrewed the spray handle and are using it like a hose…

Sounds like the diverter spring in the faucet collapsed.

I do not know the brand very well but in most faucets if you pull the gooseneck spout you will locate this diverter which is usually under $7 and will resolve your problem.
