        My washing machine leaks. I believe water is coming out of the top. I have noticed that after first wash cycle the washer begins to spin at the same time it begins to drain, causing water to spill over top of the basket. Shouldn’t the basket drain first then spin?

        I am guessing that the basket should be locked until some or all of water drains, but not sure. Any ideas or links to how I might check/fix this?

          Sounds like you need to contact a appliance repairman regarding your situation.
