        Immediately after hot water is used, and continuing for several minutes (maybe up to 30) afterwards, a high pitched “whine” comes from the (gas) water heater…it’s at a pretty high frequency and seems to cut through the rest of the background noise…at quieter times, it’s very noticeable.

        Any constructive comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated

          Have a licensed Master plumber/ Gas fitter check your flue connection for possible restrictions and or undersized flue piping. SylvanLMP
