Thanks for the follow up to my post on precision plumbing mini angle stop arrester. You mention its use for washing machines as an example, but will it work for a regular sink? I am interested in replacing the shut off valves under my sink with this assembly as a way to stop the water hammer on the hot water pipe. Thank you for your assistance.

Have you checked the water pressure to determine if high water pressure is the reason for this?
If not,,,,,you need to see if this is the initial reason for this problem.
A Pressure Reducing Valve can rectify this situation.
