Hello, If my shower drain pipe is making noise–it is evidently expanding and I assume knocking into a 2×4 or whatever, can I stop that short of going in the wall and insulating and/or better securing it? Is there an over the counter solution or anything? thanks for any advice

If the drain is PVC well it is exp. so where ever it is touching the wood you will have to knoch it out and secuire th pipe better.
