        Can I vent a bathroom exhaust fan duct into the bathroom 3 inch vent pipe rigth at the roof line rather than cut anther vent pipe openning into the roof? can exhaust fans be vented to the underside of a soffet?

          No on vent pipe, the other question you better check your local code.

            Have to agree with Retired Plumber with a definite NO to the vent pipe connection.

            Can’t see any problem whatsoever with a ducting vent discharging through a soffett in fact down here they make them with fittings to do exactly that.
