own a flat in the roof and want to put an ensuite in bedroom. the problems are room, both in floor area and head height, from eaves. What is the maximum run from wc to outside wall and down angle required. If i want to have a non enclosed shower, i.e. no tray, what do i have to do to ensure dont flood my neighbours below. any other general advice on such a project or where i can get it would be appreciated.

If you build a shower you have to have a pan set on floor. You have to do the plbg. according to your local code, you would have to run a new line alway down to basement and connect below the lowest bathroom and all has to be vented. and proper pipe size, UPC code the lenght of the pipe is about 6′ + or -.
