I poured some hot water down my sink that contained a thin layer of candle wax and now my sink will not drain right and when I run my disposal and it backs up on the other side. HELP!!!!

Sounds like it went into your P-trap under sink take it apart and see, then melt it out.

Try running boiling water if it is a slow moving clog only.

You really don’t want wax in your drain lines, as the stuff congeals to form a solid plug. Hopefully all of it has hardened in the trap, so remove that and melt it out (completely). If it has gotten further down, you may need to snake out the line. Fortunately, the stuff is soft and easy to snake.
