        how’dy again,
new problem has jumped up with my hot water…I turn on my hot water and as soon as actual HOT water starts flowing out the tap, it cuts by like 75% and the pipes chatter…I crank it open and it goes through the same steps…nice full power then BANG…75% down and the pipes chatter…it seems to work fine once I open the tap 100% but who wants to do that? Is this a washer issue? A tap issue? I wish I knew!!

        any help is appreciated.

Sounds like your washer came loose in faucet, take it apart and see.

            I agree………sounds like a washer is loose.

Hopefully it’s a loose washer, but it could also be a bit of crud in the valve seat. In either case, take the valve appart and repair/replace its innards and clear out any crud you will probably find there.
