We were using the faucett as normal when all of a sudden when it was turned on once, it did not let water pass through the faucett. When the water is turned on, it will come out of the sprayer but not out of the faucett itself. I’ve looked underneath to see if there were any kinks or obvious causes of blockage but none. Any advise?

Take spout loose from faucet and you will see a deverter valve ,its a black washer with a little brass stem on it ,replace it, should be okay.
