Is this caused by worn contacts in the pressure switch or is it some other problem??? 29 Aug 2003 at 3:43 am #295039 DUNBARParticipant Could be worn contacts, could be a broken bladder in captive air tank, also a clogged line from pump head to switch. Depleted air in bladder. Pull of switch cover and watch how contacts act when started up. If alot of cross-arcing happens, this needs to be replaced. 31 Aug 2003 at 4:40 am #295040 GarySlusserParticipant It’s called short cycling and idicates low air pressure in the tank.
