We just purchased a new house and when we moved in the pipes underneath the kitchen faucet were leaking. Over the past couple of weeks, the leak has been getting better and better and now it doesn’t leak at all (even though we didn’t do anything to fix it!). Meanwhile, our water pressure for this faucet has been getting worse and worse. Coincidence? Any suggestions?

Need to check water pressure at main to see if high pressure is a possibility.

Sounds like valves underneath might have dirt in them; turn on and off numerous times.

If water shuts off completely, debris is the culprit and faucet will need to be taken apart and cleaned.
