like others posted on here, my g.disposal just suddenly stopped working. it humms but thats it. it will turn manually. we hit the reset button, got the hex key out but to no avail. why does it work one minute and not the next? do i need a new disposal? and whats a ball park figure to have it installed? thanks

Sounds like el. trouble. Get a price from Plumber are box store, I would say cheapest one I see in paper is $ 50.00 I guese they would charge you between $ 75.00 & $100.00 plus parts this is only a guese best is get a price.
