      The plumbing and house are about 12 years old. One of the two showers has a single handle system with the hot/cold on it. Tonight its almost all hot water, if you put it almost completely on cold its acceptable. Where do I start.

      Sounds like you have some odsruction in the valve, take aprt and replace parts and gaskets.
