        Re:
Problem is the lip of pipe coming up from the ground, under toilet broke while we were trying to take the top portion offf to replace the flange. The new flange is 4×3 and just sits atop without sitting inside as a sleeve. Are there smaller flanges, like
3 1/2x 1 1/2? Also the lip we broke a portion of off, can it be glued? We want to avoid the high cost of plumbers and most of all, the necessity of digging up and replacing the pipe below the toilet headed to the sewer.
        Your recommendation.?

Take an inside cutter and cut the PVC and get a 3″ coupling and glue it on the flange and then clean the PVC pipe and glue it together.
