        My house has a well, not sure how deep, and we are having pretty low water pressure throughout the whole house. If you turn on the water, it runs for a minute or so, and when the well pump kicks on the water pressure gets much better. Do we need a new pressure tank or is there something else I should look at?

          Check the air pressure in the pressure tank and set it to 1-2 psi less than the cut-in pressure switch setting. You check it with no water in the tank. Once you have it set correctly, then you can go from there.
