I am removing a garbage disposal and have reached a point where I am stuck. I have removed the screws that secure the unit to the bottom of the sink and the plastic drain pipe but cannot remove the unit. The unit can now spin around but is still attached to the metal lip rim on the other side of the bottom of the sink. What next? Thanks [email protected]

Some disp. have a split ring that holds them together, go to http://www.google.com and ask how to install GD and follow directions.If you know the name put it in the search.
