Son-In-Law just installed electric hot water heater at out cabin. We have had an existing wood fired hot water heater. Both units are now installed but when we go to use the electric is puts out water for 2-3 seconds and then slows to a VERY slow flow…likw 30 mins. to fill up a bath tub. Have even put in a different unit but problem remains the same. Wood fired is up stairs near the wood stove and the electric is down stairs where a new bathroom is being built. He swares all piping is done correctly..but has reached his limit of knowledge. Any ideas on what to check for????? HELP!!! My daughter needs a bath!!!!!!

Try capping the pipe so you only draw from one water heater, you got one up and one down. Sounds like they are working againt each other, to connect them in a series they should be side by side and piped a certain way.
