I Have a Well Pump and Holding Tank. When I tuen on my water my Pump turns on and turns off constantly until I shut the water off. Is there no Pressuer in my holding tank? The tank has a Max Pressuer of 75 psi.
        What can I check?

Bleed down the pressure tank and drain the water from it – check the diaphram for soundness (if fitted) and repressurise the tank.
Over time the air pressure in the top chamber sometimes leeks away and makes the pump turn on and off all the time.
Down here we fit rubber bladders inside the tanks to keep the two components air and water apart.

You might also like to check and see if the non return valve on the water line is holding and not allowing water to run back – this would also make the pump hunt on and off very regularly.
