I an building a new bathroom in an existing home so I am unable to run a vent line to the roof how else can I vent my fixtures other than going streaight to the roof? Thank you for your help.
If your local code allows it, you might be able to use a “Redi-Vent,” which is a fitting that has a spring-loaded rubber gasket that admits air into system, but does not allow sewer gas to escape. It is connected above the sanitary sink tee. These fittings work well, When they are allowed, they must be accessible, i.e., they cannot be covered in walls.
