        I have a Reliance 501 gas hot water heater (75 gal.) with a recirculation pump. I also have Grohe faucets/shower fixtures. These fixture constantly (twice a month)have the filters clogged with small white grit and I have to clean them. Why is this happening and what can I do about it? I’ve already drained the water heater once.

          Lloyd,
          It sounds like you have the same problems millions of people have when a water heater dip tube is eroding away. I would call reliance and give them the heater info and I think they will help.
