I am trying to find out if I can use an automatic washing machine when I am only on gravity fed water (not much pressure). My twin tub blew up and I am sick of them. Too much work! I have borrowed an older auto but it doesn’t seem to want to work (won’t fill and when you fill it by hand it wont wash). i was told the pressure doesn’t affect the solanoid (?) and that I have enough pressure to run an auto. Any ideas would be very helpful

Just find out from the W/M manufactures the minimum pressure for the solinoid valves.In U/k our hot supplies are nearly always gravity fed W/Ms work fine but are U/K spec.Dont forget ten meters head equals one Bar.Hope this helps
