is there a rule of thumb to installing base oard heating as to how much linear feet would be put into a room of a certain size?
also is there a limit to how many zones can be run off of a single boiler and pump? -
Yes, divide the heat requirement in the room by 600 for standard baseboard usning a 80%+ efficient boiler at 180 maximum water temperature.
If using a 92+ efficient condensing boiler at a maximum 130F water temperature divide the heat requirement by 300 btuh per foot.
