Bathtub Spout Not Working

      Last night I turned on the hot water faucet to start filling up a bathtub. When I went to check it, the shower had been left on slightly and that was the only water going into the tub. I turned off the shower and then got no water at all coming out of the spout – hot or cold. I turned on the shower and that is how I filled the tub. The bathroom sinks were working. I don’t know what the problem is. Can anyone help?

      If you have a 3 handle shower valve you have to put new parts on deverter valve if have 1 handle valve then you have to replace the parts.
