I have recently installed a new Gas Water heater, and I still have air in the hot water line. No air in the cold lines. No leaks anywhere. Temperature turned way down, but air is when first turned on and in cold water so not steam. Is it possible the leak is inside the heater (aspiration???) itself? Are there any other ways air can leak into a closed system? How do I check?

Are you sure you run it long enough, it will leave if you let it run long enough.
