water heater leaking

        hot water heater is leading a little at the botton and I don’t know what to look for or where to look. It’s 9 years old, never been worked on or adjusted in any way.
        Can someone help me. Thanks a bunch. jean

          If it leaking steady you better get a new one installed, see if it stops then watch it. Is it gas are EL. If its EL. then it could be leaking by the Elements are controls, if it is gas then it could be leaking in the inside where the flame goes up.

              Jean,check around the drain on the heater to make sure it is not leaking .Sometimes they leak and it appears the tank is leaking.
