i have a gas water heater that is 8 years old i just moved in to this house and the hot water dribbles out of all my faucets but the cold is normal pressure could there be a restriction in the hot water heater?
Check the cold supply to the tank for a shut off valve. If there is one check it to make sure it is all the way open .Also check the hot side for the same thing. Also you could have some type of restrictions in the hot lines. You could also turn off the water ,take each faucet apart and check them for blockage, etc, Could check under each faucet for supply stops to make sure they are all the on .Best bet would be to call a plumber
Check both the inlet and outlet water connections at the cylinder for possible internal corrosion that may be restricting the flow of water both into or out of the cylinder.
