        I’d like to know what “brand” gas water heater
        40 ? gallons (family of 5) is highly recommended.

            Why fit a new cylinder anyways – search from suppliers and the internet for a local dealer who sells tankless units – these units use less energy per gallon of water heated than any kind of gas storage cylinder – PLUS they never run out of hot water.
