My Mother recently had a cold water pipe leak under her slab. It cost approx. $3300 to repair. She had Allstate insurance and her claim was denied. Does anyone know of an instance when Allstate or any insurance company covered such a repair.

Insurance companies do “NOT” cover the repair of a burst water pipe.
However any damage caused by the leak “normally” is covered depending on the wording in the insurance document.
Any excavation or exploration to find the cause of damage is normally covered as well.
The leaking pipe is the owner or insured persons responsibility.
