I just aquired a mobil home that was sitting vacant for the last ten years or so. I have a serious case of polybutylene coupling tee failure. The pipe itself seems ok(for now). I contacted the CPRC and since this was manufactured in 83 it seems i am out of luck. they say if it was not taken care of by 97 then ii am out of luck. Anyone know any way in to get this resolved?

Go to a Plumbing supply house and see if they have a tool and clamps for it , are take it out and use copper.

thanks, although I was looking for someone who may know how to qualify for an exception to the rules???
I have been using Qest fitting and a local mobil home supplier to make up some tee’s.
I guess my next step is to buy a crimper and some fittings and damn well do it myself.
