I have what looks like rust on the bottom of my cast iron kitchen sink. I’ve had a plumber check for leaks and he could not find any. Does this happen?

My wife wants to replace the sink because, although it looks nice, it is difficult to keep looking nice. Any suggestions on alternatives?

        Thanks,
        Mark

Is it in the sink are underneath the bottom. If it is in ink you can have it reporched and if it is underneath then paint it. Look in tel. book for people whonredo sinks and fix.
