When the water is running or the toilet is flushed in the master bedroom (which is on the second floor) there is a knocking sound that can be heard in the wall. And the knocking sound continues about every 5-10 minutes even after the water has been shut off (or the toilet stops). It is a single knock. How can I get it to stop!!

It could be to much water pressure,, are a bad ballcock are the pipe is moving in partition and making the noise, you will have to isolate it , turn off toilet and turn on Lav. are Sh and see if that makes a noise if not then it must be your toilet.
