I want to install a half bathroom in the basement. There is already a drain in the floor for the toilet. In order to tie into the stack to drain the sink, I need to run about 10′ of pipe with 2 90 degree bends to follow the wall. There is no place to tie into one of the vents in the house. Will this be a problem? Should the drain pipes have standard slope? Thanks for any advice. DJ

There is a vent to tie into in your house but it will take a little knowledge and work to do it, check with your Plbg. insp. and see if they let you use a loop vent. If you want to look at loop vent go to search and look.
